I assume he was going to send me a “text verification code” that was actually a link of some sort which would download malware and hope that he could convince me to click the link Then he says he is going to send me a text and that I will read the number back to him for verification – at this point I disconnected the call and deleted Anydesk.I am assuming that he saw, from being able to see my screen, the two bank icons I have on my iphone. He then sideways mentions that we are going to “pull up Facebook and verify some billing information” and he mentions FB marketplace (which I have never used) and he mentions “Oh you have BLAH BLAH bank and another bank account, right?” and I say how do you know I have BLAHH BLAH, I do not buy anything on FB marketplace”.As I now know, he was screen recording so during this time he saw my FB account. We tried “resolving it” for a couple of minutes – I did not type in any passwords or any information other than my name. At first he had me pull up Facebook so we could try to “resolve” my issue.

I downloaded Anydesk onto my iphone and gave the guy the access code and allowed access. The call from start to finish was just under 15 minutes.I called what I thought was Facebook support. My call was related to Facebook support – I know, I know – and I will NEVER do this again or believe anyone, I’m scared to ever turn my phone back on.

I got scammed today using my iphone and Anydesk and I need help determining how at risk my information is.
